Plans are going as usual, the squad is rushing the last days of the Season 52. The team structure is really happy during this transition to a new speciality, the cobblestones. Training at Alamo Gordo and Hawaii, the goal is to train in the hardest dust roads of the world; to increase the endurance of our cyclists.
With the lead of Porfirio Garcilaso and Glenn Nyholm, the roster at S.S is training hard to focus in Season 53. Last session of 3642 km was completed in 2 days, Kasper Van den Bergh won the session, followed by Denis Hama and Kuzman Konstantinov in third place, Max Douglas ended 9th in the session.
The global overall among US Postal's riders is led by Jacob Hughson. ''I'm glad to lead the ranking of training, too bad it doesn't offer a jersey as reward,'' Hughson said.
Here's the full overall standing after 9 training sessions, pending of the last session.
1-Jacob Hughson 19.027 km 29d21h18'57''
2-Kasper Van den Bergh 19.027 km --- +1'03''
3-Dylan Lombard 19.027 km --- +3'35''
4-Sébastian Vandenburie 19.027 --- +6'08''
5-Max Douglas 19.027 --- +17'18''
6-Denis Hama 19.027 --- +31'22''
7-Wayne Battle 19.027 --- +33'00''
8-Kuzman Konstantinov 19.027 --- +59'25''
9-Sylváin Kabbah 19.027 --- +1h43'04''
In few days the riders will race the last session and our press chief will post the review of this season. Key number now, 105 and counting. Have a nice last sprint all the teams.
